Darkness #21: This book was a lot of fun. Here
are some of the more interesting pages. I did all the backgrounds
shown (didn't do some trees). This is over Francis Manapul's fun,
stylized pencils.

Tombraider #48 I did all the background work shown. The
first one I inked everything but the fighters. That was a fun
page. These were all Leonard Kirk's sweet pencils.

Tombraider #47 here are a few of the more interesting pages of
inks with Eric Basaldua's pencils. I did backgrounds and blacks
and some tech stuff like the helicopter. Jay
did the main stuff.

Jay Leisten
is a great go-to guy when super-tight schedules have to
be met and quality is still an absolute must. This is a page I was
lucky to even touch; it's page 11 from the Wolverine/WitchBlade
crossover penciled by the tight penciler - Eric Basaldua. I was in
Jay's studio inking this page, so I didn't get to scan the inks, but
here's a scan of the printed page. I was able to do flat black and
borders on this one. I've gotten the opportunity to work on some
Greg Land covers too, but I'll wait until they are published before
displaying them here.

Here are a few pages from TheDarkness #14. I got
to ink a good bit of the background shadows, and items like gun details,
knife details, some of the background characters getting blasted,
technical background items like TV's, tiles, etc... An interesting
example of a minor contribution an inker may make is in the hospital
scene in the last two pages in this list. Here the penciler
hurriedly indicated curtains with some loose, sketchy lines. I got
to tighten these up by inking with intentionally consistent verticals
varying in distance from one another with line breaks to indicate light
reflections. A couple pages are fully inked, as I forgot to scan
the partials before returning them to Jay.
